About Us

The Attic Film Fest, or more affectionately “TAFF” by our regular attenders and filmmakers, is  501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Austin, Texas.

Founded in 2007, TAFF has selected and screened hundreds of high production value, faith-based, redemptive films to audiences of all ages, where the signature event is our festival held each spring in Austin.

In addition to the festival, TAFF holds special screenings throughout the year called the “Soul Series Screenings” where some of the award winning films are shown, generally to sold out audiences, followed by a Q&A session with the producer, director, and/or performers from the film.

Come and join the fun!

Being a part of the Attic Film Festival was an incredible experience that encouraged both David and I to continue making inspirational films that glorify our Lord Jesus Christ and I recommend all filmmakers to submit their work for the coming year.

Many of the faith film festivals have struggled to find content that is not over-hyped, under-acted, and severely under-funded … until now.  The Attic Film Festival blows me away!  The films are amazing, attendance is overwhelming, and the staff in incredible.

The festival is more than a mere competition – it is  gathering of where filmmakers, producers, actors, and writers network and encourage each other, interact with the audience, and generally just have a great time!

Here’s a glimpse of our festival last year, held at the Alamo Drafthouse.
